My client is a global private markets firm providing their investors with a sophisticated investment approach and specialises in infrastructure, alternative assets and real estate. They boast global & specialist private equity, asset management and infrastructure investment teams that provide an unparalleled service to the investors that they represent. 

With a key member of the team transferring overseas, they are now looking for an Analyst with 2-4 years experience to join their team in Sydney. The role encompasses all the services that the firm provides, with your key responsibilities including:

Asset management and managing assets on behalf of clients. This will involve influencing board level outcomes to ensure maximal client returns, monitoring all aspects of the asset’s performance as well involvement with and reporting on re-financings, CAPEX reviews and potential M&A within the assets

Financial modelling, particularly DCFs/Three-way models for co-investment purposes for when clients want to invest overseas, as a part of a global deal sourced by the team overseas or as part of a local consortium 

M&A advisory work for bespoke deals: running due diligence, testing assumptions in the model and interacting with the investment committee

The ideal candidate will be an Analyst from a Big 4 CA firm or bank with 2-4 years experience in Corporate Finance,  Modelling, M&A, Transaction Services, Valuations or other related field. You will bring solid financial modelling skills and a track record in affecting commercial outcomes in the work and deals you have been involved with.
