You will initially be working on a number of projects pertaining to changes to the General Ledger and reporting processes based on upcoming regulations including IFRS 9 and Ring Fencing.

A large UK bank is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join their Finance Change division. You will initially be working on a number of projects pertaining to changes to the General Ledger and reporting processes based on upcoming regulations including IFRS 9 and Ring Fencing.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Provide governance and lead for one or more workstreams
  • Liaising with key stakeholders, you will define and implement adequate project outcomes
  • Working with various teams to ensure that the requirements are understood and that the delivered outcomes fulfil requirements
  • Engaging and managing a number of senior stakeholders
  • Project planning, setup and delivery

Key Requirements -

  • You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager on large Finance Change programmes
  • You will either come from an accounting or consultancy background
  • You will ideally be a qualified Accountant or have an understanding of finance functions within banking
  • Strong experience of end to end delivery of large scale Finance Change workstreams
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
