About The Role
Role Location: 100 Queen St, Melbourne
Role Type: 7months Fixed Term Opportunity

As a Business Analyst will be required to provide 1st Level User Support for new institutional credit risk applications and lead assist with business and system improvement initiatives.

This is a key support role within Credit and Capital Management that requires a combination of credit process knowledge (including financial statement analysis), passion for new technologies (cloud, AI/machine learning) and business analysis skills.

You will be required to establish the business support (1st level support) function, taking it from documentation to established team practices. The support function will be required to answer user questions about system functionality and where applicable escalate these to technical support teams; you’ll also work on business and system improvement initiative, facilitate sessions with multiple stakeholders including Business process owners and SMEs, system analysts and engineers

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
  • Extensive business analysis experience and/or related technical experience. Detailed knowledge of business analysis tasks, experience in elicitation techniques and competent in requirements gathering skills. Solid understanding of project management lifecycles, disciplines and procedures. Some domain knowledge of impacted business units.
  • Experience managing small projects or user support. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working on mid to large sized projects. Ability to work independently with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with both agile and project delivery. Growth mindset
  • Strong understanding of the Institutional business (Credit knowledge preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of ADF governance and an ability to apply a principles based approach
  • Experience in tech, Digital, and Cloud based projects highly desired
