An international asset management house is looking for high calibers to join as Senior Asia Macro Strategy, Asset Allocation - Executive Director or above. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international asset management house with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit high calibers to join them.

A senior level position responsible for providing primarily Asian macroeconomic strategy views on the business and investment environment as a direct contribution to tactical and strategic investment recommendations within multi-asset solutions. Active contributor in determining global asset class views and return/risk forecasts by conducting financial/economic studies and analyses in support of investment decisions with a focus on Asian assets. Serve as a company’s spokesperson on macroeconomic strategy with clients, prospects and media. Develop and articulate G10 and Asian macroeconomic strategy views that directly impact investment decisions and portfolio performance on a wide array of multi-asset investment products. Support primarily multi-asset solutions investment personnel in Asia and secondarily other Asia and global internal investment teams and division management on current global economic conditions and risk factors affecting the outlook for financial markets along with the relevant historical analysis.     Conduct macroeconomic and market research; refine and developing forecasts, models and processes utilizing fundamental expertise supported by quantitative analysis. Support the asset gathering process for multi-asset solutions through the effective delivery of presentations, participation in conference calls, and the assisting in the development of investment-related marketing material. Help support the creation of macroeconomic strategy thought leadership with an emphasis on multi-asset solutions publications for both internal communication of economic trends and for external marketing support.

To be considered, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 8 years’  of relevant experience. Proven communicator with media and/or client presentations an asset. Deep understanding of macroeconomic strategy/policy and asset allocation drivers, techniques and concepts. Advanced knowledge in industry-leading economic and portfolio analysis software including Bloomberg, Reuters, etc. Strong written and oral communication skills.
