We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Asset Servicing team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Role Purpose

  • To work within a team of Technical Specialist to both manage and oversee a number of important and business critical activities in both the UK Hub and the Offshore Service Centres.
  • This is of particular importance where processes are fully off shored, whereby the team will be a key point of control and escalation for both internal and external parties as well as Clients.
  • The role will own Asset Servicing activities covering Corporate Actions, Corporate Governance and Income but also require the ability to gain a broad understanding of all areas. Cash Processing, Trade Processing, Corporate Actions, Income,, Accounting & Valuations, Settlements and Reconciliation's.
  • To ensure all service delivery output is completed to agreed quality and timing targets, through the on-going review and monitoring of MI from both the Onshore HUB and OSC's.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Managerial/supervisory experience essential
  • Knowledge of the securities industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of Investment Administration and Middle Office functions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Experience of dealing directly with external clients, brokers, fund managers and custodians.
  • Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines, taking into account relative priorities.
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Strong business sense and awareness of the key issues/risks within the Operations
