If you want to work as an equities professional in Russia, you may be interested to know that URALSIB Capital, the investment banking arm of URALSIB Financial Corporation, is hiring.

URALSIB has appointed Kirill Yankovski as director of equity sales and Andrew Powell as director of DMA Sales. Yandovsky previously worked at Unicredit. It's not clear where Powell previously worked.

Mark Temkin, CEO of URALSIB Capital and a graduate of Moscow State University, said the new hires have a, "wealth of experience that is tuned to understanding and meeting the needs of European clients."

The new hires are designed to provide an expanded service to URALSIB's international clients, added Temkin. They're also aimed at giving it an entrance into the direct market access (DMA) area of the equities market.

URALSIB Capital has offices in London, Moscow and (strangely) Cyprus.

Barclays is also rumoured to be hiring junior equities staff in Russia. Renaissance Capital has also been hiring for equities trading this year.
